students using tech tools to share about values
that can help make the world A better Place
AMPLIFIED VOICES showcases multimedia projects that were created during the Religious and Values Education classes of Mr. Jim Tuscano, Grade 6 Teacher. The projects contain ideas, reflections, and insights of his students regarding values and issues, not only from their immediate environment, but also from the world that we all live in.
However, more than sharing their learnings in class, the students are using their knowledge in using tech tools such as the iPad to make their messages clearer, engaging, and creative. Using the power of the Internet, the students aim reach the global audience so that their voices can be heard across the seas and the globe. But most importantly, the works of the students are being shared because we want to help the world, especially, children like them, to realize that learning is not just about perfecting a test, solving a Math problem, or reading a book. It is also about being able to use your learnings to feel for others and to live in harmony with others. We are sharing about values that we have learned to help build a community and culture that respects and serve the least, poor, and the marginalized. |
All works being showcased in this website are original works of my current and former students.
All credits go to them. The students used public domain images in their work.
